Welcome to the Queens' Sports Academy May 2026 Newsletter
Boys Football Academy

As the competitive season comes to a close, the boys have finished the campaign with some really strong performances, picking up results in three of our last four games, with the only defeat coming in heartbreaking fashion away to MK College with a 96th-minute winner. The group have shown great character, resilience, and togetherness throughout the season, and the progress made across the squad has been fantastic to see. We are also incredibly proud of Chase Matthew, who was named Man of the Match for Hertfordshire County in the National County Cup Final held at Bet365 Stadium — a brilliant achievement and fully deserved recognition for all of his hard work this season.

We would also like to wish all of our departing Year 13 students the very best of luck, not only in their upcoming exams but also in their future endeavours: Tobi Faleye, Allan Fraser, Sam Voituret, Gabriel Osie, Taishi Takeda, Sean Vasquez Tan, Joe Chandler, and Kieran Tooley. Thank you for everything you have given to the academy — we are proud of each of you and look forward to seeing what comes next.

With the season now wrapping up, we’re excited to begin preparations for the summer programme and to welcome in our new student athletes ahead of the 2026/2027 season.

Girls academy

As another season draws to a close, a massive thank you goes out to all of our student-athletes for their incredible hard work and dedication this year. We want to send a special message of encouragement to our Under-13s, wishing them the absolute best of luck in their upcoming exams and all their future endeavours. The discipline and determination you have displayed on the football pitch will undoubtedly serve you well in the exam hall and beyond.

Our girls truly rewarded themselves for that hard work by finishing the campaign on a high, securing brilliant back-to-back victories to close out the year. Looking ahead, we are incredibly excited for the challenge of joining a brand new league next season. This move brings a more demanding schedule with significantly more matches, offering our squads fantastic opportunities to test themselves, grow, and take their development to the next level. Have a great break, and let’s get ready for an even bigger year ahead!
